Greenshades offers a full landscape and garden design service. We provide a design service that reflects your lifestyle and budget. Most of Greenshades clients are in the Sydney Hills District, Ryde District, Hornsby Shire and the Upper Northshore. Other areas of Sydney including the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury and The Central Coast can also be serviced.
Our trained Landscape Designer, Sue Farley can design your dream garden from the smallest courtyard to the largest estate. Past projects include small inner city terraces to large rural properties.
Sue has unsurpassed experience and knowledge of the local upper hills area. She has lived in the area all her life and been a practising landscape designer and horticulturalist for over 15 years. She is a master of garden design and can create garden of extreme beauty.
Sue is a member of the Australian Institute of Landscape Designers & Managers and the Australian Institute of Horticulture.

Step one is the initial site consultation & Site Analysis

1. Concept Plan - Broad general ideas plan
2. Planting Plan - Detailed plan with plant locations and descriptions
3. Planting Lists and Notes - Lists of plants for chosen for areas of your garden.
or a combination of all
All plans are to scale and where necessary to the appropriate Council DA/BA specification
We can also recommend suitable contractors to construct your work. We can coordinate the work and oversee the project so you get the best results possible.
We prefer to source all the plants for our designs and we believe plant quality is of utmost importance when achieve landscape excellence.
Plant delivery and placement is available. Finishing touches are everything and lots of people can't read landscape plans , so Greenshades offers a plant placement service so the plant is in the right place and all you have to do is plant it. But is that is too much effort we can also do the planting works for you. All plantings are done with the right water holding additives and soil conditioners to ensure success.
We also can oversee the maintenance of your site and provide care calendars for people who want to do the work themselves.
